Releasing two new plugins!
I released two WordPress plugins on github today. I’ll get them on wordpress.org someday ( suuuuure I will ), but for now you can just download.
Local Plugin Last Update
This one makes a column on the plugins page that shows when your install of a given plugin was last updated. WordPress reports a “last updated” value, but it’s when the plugin developer made a release. This one reports the filetime of your install, so you know how long it’s been.

Howdy World
This one is just for fun. In the top right corner of the WordPress admin it usually says “Howdy, Topher” (for me anyway. It probably has your name on your site). I made a plugin that changes the Howdy to a random greeting from over 100 languages from around the world. That’s it, that’s the plugin. No config, though there is a settings page which lists them all and what language they’re from.
